Course Overview

This instructor-led course provides a comprehensive, hands-on approach to working in SharePoint Online, focusing on both smart content management and modern site design. Participants will learn how to move beyond traditional folder structures by using metadata, custom views, and SharePoint Lists to organize, track, and manage information more effectively. The course also introduces forms and automation with Power Automate, enabling teams to streamline data collection, trigger notifications, and support approval workflows. By the end of this portion, learners will be able to build structured, user-friendly solutions that improve how their organization stores, accesses, and interacts with content.

In addition, the course explores how to create and manage modern SharePoint sites that are intuitive, well-structured, and aligned with business needs. Participants will learn when to use Team Sites versus Communication Sites, how to connect content using hub architecture, and how to design engaging pages with navigation, branding, and web parts.
