Course Overview

Time is money, the saying goes, and lots of it gets lost in disorganization and disruption.  We also deal with a constant barrage of technology, people, and tasks that can contribute to disorganization.  Many people find that they flit from one task to another, trying to get everything done. In this course, you will practice techniques that will help you achieve more effective use of your time so that you can direct energy towards the activities that will further your professional and personal goals.

Objective

You will identify effective time-management strategies, including defining personal and professional goals, establishing priorities, and identifying the tasks that will be critical to achieving those goals.

  • You will create a personal time-management action plan
  •  Understand your Personal and Current Time Management Style
  • Better organize yourself and your workspace for peak efficiency
  • Understand the importance of, and the most useful techniques for setting and achieving goals
  • Identify the right things to be doing and developing plans for doing them
  • Learn what to delegate and how to delegate well
  • Take control of things that can derail your workplace productivity
